Where Can I Serve?

Crown of life is not simply a place where we meet on Sunday mornings but a place where we can serve the Lord. Having an opportunity to serve is one of the many gifts God gives us.  As we serve, we are giving thanks and showing our love for a Savior who gave everything up to save us.  If you are interested in helping out, talk to Pastor or one of the council men.

Ushers

The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose work is integral to church life.

Music

Have you been blessed with the gift of playing an instrument or a singing voice?  We are always looking for ways to enrich our worship.  If you would like to play for worship, or join the choir talk to Pastor Kehl or Katherine Jefferson. We would be glad to have you serve.

Refreshments

After services we enjoy fellowship time in the fellowship hall.  Refreshments are provided by volunteers to tide us over until lunch.  If you would like to volunteer for a time to bring food or snacks contact Ramona Schultz (Ladies Guild President) or Pastor Kehl.

Cleaning

Volunteers are needed to help clean the church and fellowship hall.  Cleaning happens on a weekly basis and is a necessary part of building up keep. If you are interested in helping out, talk to the pastor or a member of the Ladies Guild.

Mowing

Crown of Life has been blessed with a large property, but that also means God blesses us with a lot of fast growing grass.  To keep the grounds looking nice we have volunteers mow/string trim/garden every week.  If that is something you would enjoy or would be willing to help with, talk to pastor or a council member.
